Christophobia
The Real Reason Behind Hate Crime Legislation
by Rev. Tristan Emmanuel
This book is about Bill C-250. Bill C-250 was known as "an Act to amend the Criminal Code of Canada (hate propaganda)." Actually, to be more precise, this book is about legal oppression. Bill C-250 represented the latest legislative initiative to silence moral disapproval of homosexuality. And ultimately, Bill C-250 is an attempt to suppress the Christian Gospel. The Bill was the legal face of a very real problem: Christophobia.
What People Are Saying
"Complacent Christian Beware. If you thought the gay rights movement was just about 'tolerance,' and that 'discrimination' is anti-scriptural and immoral, think again. This deft, compact book examines the lethal threat to religious liberty posed by the rising demand for special 'hate laws' to protect homosexuals. Emmanuel explores the terrible paradox wherein gays, who no longer suffer any measurable discrimination at all, angrily seek to suppress the most basic rights of Christians, who on all sides are openly defamed, deplored, mocked and marginalized. Clearly, calmly and boldly, he explains why Christians must stop apologizing, stop hiding, and stop pretending they can coexist peacefully with the perverse new faith that has seized control of North American culture."
